Memories - Adventures with Rex Wotton.

Together with his parents, Les and Muriel, Rex Wotton managed the West Coast Watersports center at Coral Reef hotel, just up the beach from Settlers Beach. The shop took hotel guest diving and on sailing trips along the coast. He was an expert seafarer trained by the Royal Merchant Navy in navigation, and marine work.

Rex Wotton was just one of the most charming Rogues of Barbados. He had an infectious sense of fun and used it to win over every situation. Sailing to St. Vincent with a friend at age 11 shows his sense of adventure. He encouraged all to join him in pranks and daredevil acts, making it seem safe, easy, and a joy.

Sailing to St. Vincent with a friend at just 11 years of age  testifies to his spirit of adventure. He invited many other to take with him in capers and outrageous expeditions, making it all appear safe, effortless, and fun. Generally reckless, he took extreme yet considered risks.
